AVOID DEBT

The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7 Although debt is not sin but debt is not wise. One major reason why debt is not smart is the interest that works against you. That is why God didn’t want His people to charge interest against one another when they lend money to each other. If you lend to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest. Exodus 22:25 However, in our world today when you borrow, the lender will charge you interest. When you borrow you become servant to the lender. It is difficult to get ahead financially living in debt. Debt is not smart, because when you do the math, interest accumulated through savings or investments will put you at a much better place financially. The life that God has given us is an ever increasing life. We go from glory to glory, from faith to faith, from grace to grace. That is the Christian life there is no end to it. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. DO THE WORK OF AN EVANGELIST

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 1 Timothy 4:5 To do the work of an evangelist does not necessarily mean to go out there and hold crusades, although you can do that, if God is leading you in that direction. To do the work of an evangelist means to win souls. This is what you should do as a Christian, whether you are a minister of the gospel or not. You can win souls in your home, neighborhood, at your workplace, institution of learning, in the bus, at the park, etc. You can win souls practically anywhere. You have to be ready in and out of season to share the Word with others. It goes without saying that to be an effective soul winner you have to be prayerful. You need to pray for the lost. The devil has blinded them to the truth, so you need to pray for them to see. You need to pray for them to receive the gospel. If you ever want to be in God’s good books be a follower of what is good. Don’t let anyone deceive you, God loves good people and He favors them. BE STRONG IN THE LORD

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 Many people in these last days have gotten weak and that is because they think they have to be strong in themselves. The Bible did not say be strong in yourself, but it says be strong in the Lord. However, some people want to be strong but they don’t want to pray, study the Word or go to church. Consequently, they remain weak. If you are going to be strong in the Lord, you have to engage in spiritual exercises. Some listen to their feelings, they feel weak and then think they are weak. That is not what the Bible teaches. As the righteous, we walk by faith and not by sight or sensory perception. It doesn’t matter how you feel because you can change it by your words. Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. Genesis 21:5 Beloved, no matter how long it has been, don’t give up. It is never too late with God. God can still turn things around. God is able to do the humanly impossible. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:13-14 People might have negative opinions about you.
