JESUS’ BROTHER, SISTER AND MOTHER

Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd. And it was told Him by some, who said, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.” But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Luke 8:19-21 When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you come into the family of God. You and Jesus have one Heavenly Father, you are in the household of faith and Jesus is not ashamed to call you His brother. Jesus calls those who hear the Word of God and do it His mother, brothers and sisters. He calls those who do the will God His mother, brothers and sisters. That is because a real Christian does the will of God. For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother. LIVING TO PLEASE GOD

For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still please men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 You can make others happy. You can make your family, friends and colleagues happy but what if what makes your family, friends and colleagues happy makes God unhappy. You have to learn to live to please God. When you make God happy everything will fall into place. When you make God happy you will be happy and you will have peace in your heart. All is well when you are living to please the Lord. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 Keep God first place and make Him happy, live to please God.  However, you cannot please God and please all men at the same time; you cannot make God happy and make everybody else happy at the same time. KNOWLEDGE GIVES LIGHT

For You are my lamp, O LORD, the LORD shall enlighten my darkness. 2 Samuel 22:29 Jesus is my Light and since He came in my life He has brought light in my life and that light came in the form of knowledge. The knowledge of God gives us light. When you have the light of the knowledge of God you can longer walk in darkness, you are made free. You can name your problem. All you need is light concerning that problem and your situation will change. You will be delivered through knowledge. Knowledge of the truth will set you free! And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32 God’s Word will give you direction for your life. It will show you who you are and what you possess. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7 You will be rewarded for the good that you do, in a similar fashion, you will be rewarded for the wrong that you do. You reap what you sow! Therefore, you need to choose life, and choose to sow the right seeds for your life. You choose the kind of life you want to live by choosing the kind of seeds you sow. You have to sow love in order to reap love. You have to make others happy in order to be happy. You have to teach others how to be successful in order to be successful. You have to be generous in order to live in abundance. You simply reap what you sow. Knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. Let us hear the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. Ecclesiastes 12:13 Man’s all is to fear the Lord and to live according to His Word. Man’s all is to keep God’s Word first place. Adam failed at this but Jesus succeeded. When you are in Christ, you can keep God’s Word. You can live by the Word. You have to learn to yield to the Word and the Spirit every day and live by the Word. There is no other way but to trust and obey. God in His infinite wisdom created the universe and He tells you through His Word how to get things done. He lets you know how to achieve the right results. All you have to do is just yield to Him and you will live a glorious and victorious life. Many people are unhappy, sick and poor because they don’t live by the Word. DON’T QUIT

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12 Do not stop living according to God’s Word, there is opposition, however, if you won’t quit, if you won’t give up, you will see your breakthrough. You will be rewarded for living according to God’s Word. Don’t stop praying, studying and confessing God’s Word. Don’t stop doing God’s Word and serving the Lord. You are not serving God in vain. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58 When you are serving the Lord and living by His Word but not seeing a breakthrough, don’t quit. WORK IS A BLESSING

…for a worker is worthy of his food. Matthew 10:10 When you work you will eat. Work is a blessing not a curse. In the Garden of Eden, the first responsibility that God gave man was to work. You were created to work. You were created to produce. Sometimes people can fall into a trap of laziness. They make excuses like, “there are no jobs.” If there are no jobs, you can create one. God has made us to be creative beings. There is no need to be idle, if you look hard enough, you can find something to do. You can see a problem you can solve or a need you can meet and that is what entrepreneurs do. In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23 There is a problem out there with your name on it. You were born as a solution to a problem. You can make a difference. Train your mind to think of solutions and solve problems.
