WORK IS A BLESSING

…for a worker is worthy of his food.

Matthew 10:10

When you work you will eat. Work is a blessing not a curse. In the Garden of Eden, the first responsibility that God gave man was to work. You were created to work. You were created to produce.

Sometimes people can fall into a trap of laziness. They make excuses like, “there are no jobs.” If there are no jobs, you can create one. God has made us to be creative beings. There is no need to be idle, if you look hard enough, you can find something to do. You can see a problem you can solve or a need you can meet and that is what entrepreneurs do.

In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.

Proverbs 14:23

There is a problem out there with your name on it. You were born as a solution to a problem. You can make a difference. Train your mind to think of solutions and solve problems. Use your mind, one of the best advices I have ever got was to work hard with my mind.

So, there are no excuses not to work. You can always find something to do. You can always produce something. Where there is a will, there is a way. You can be fruitful and productive.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Genesis 1:28

There is always something to do, a service you can offer or a product you can create. Find something to do and work hard at it. Do it with your strength. Put some effort into it, don’t take shortcuts but do your best.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Ecclesiastes 9:10

Thought of the day: Work is a blessing.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for an opportunity to work and produce something, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38 The world doesn’t owe you anything; you are the one who is supposed to make a difference in the world. You are the one who is supposed to be a giver, lifter and helper. Many people are waiting for things to happen like the next breakthrough. Well, why not make things happen? Instead of waiting for a breakthrough, pay it forward. Every action has a return effect, you will reap what you sow. Instead of waiting for people to love you, help you and be friendly to you. Start sowing love, help and friendship to others. Start sowing what you want to harvest in your life. Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14 People in the world are in darkness; they walk in ignorance to God’s Word. As a believer you can enlighten other people’s darkness; you can make them see. You are the light of the world. You are a leader with solutions. You can win souls and lead many to righteousness.
