PURSUE YOUR PURPOSE
See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
1
Corinthians 5:15
Pursue
your purpose. Your purpose is both good for you and for all. Your purpose
fulfills you and meets others’ needs. Your purpose makes you happy and solves
other people’s problems.
Your
purpose is what you do best. It entails your gifts and passion. Your purpose is
necessary. Your purpose is what you were born to do. You do not have to be
anyone else you can be yourself and fulfill your purpose in life. So, run your
own race.
Therefore
we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay
aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run
with endurance the race that is set before us.
Hebrews
12:1
You
cannot achieve success at the highest height without the pursuit of your
purpose. The pursuit of your purpose will distinguish you as a success in life.
If
you want to be successful, discover and pursue your purpose. What are you good
at? What are you passionate about? What makes you happy? What makes you angry?
These are some of the questions that will help you discover your purpose in
life. Moreover, as you spend time with the Lord, you can discover your purpose.
You
must know what kind of questions to ask, questions like “God what do you want
me to do?” God can reveal your purpose to you.
Instead
of asking what your country should do for you or what your church should do for
you. Ask what can I do for my country or what can I do for my church?
Know
which questions to ask. So what can you do in the kingdom of God? What can you
do in the marketplace? Your answer to these questions may well be your purpose
in life.
Now
when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the
rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
Acts
2:37
Thought
of the day: I have to pursue my purpose.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me purpose. Thank You for giving me
something that I’m good at and passionate about, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
