REIGNING WITH JESUS

For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.

1 Corinthians 15:225

Jesus is Lord and He reigns in heaven and on earth. He is in heaven and here on earth He is in us the church. In heaven He reigns by Himself and here on earth He reigns through us. Here on earth we are the ones carrying out His will and setting things in order.

Here on earth we are reigning with Jesus, we reign through Him. He has given us authority and put all things under our feet. He is the One directing us on what to do and how to do it and where to go and when to go. He is the head of the church.

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have preeminence.

Colossians 1:18

Others are reigning with Him in Christian television, others are reigning with Him in politics, others are reigning with Him in education, others are reigning with Him in music, others are reigning with Him in business, etc. You must find your place where you can reign with Him, as He said, “do business till I come.”

…’Do business till I come.’

Luke 19:13

For you to reign with Jesus you have to die to yourself and let Him live through you. You have to pick up your cross and follow Him. You have to crucify the flesh. You have to die to the flesh daily.

I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

1 Corinthians 1:31

So spend time with Him through prayer and Scriptural meditation. When you do that you crucify the flesh, you mortify the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit. Then you can say together with Paul it is no longer I that lives by Christ lives in me. You can reign with Jesus, you can reign through Him.

For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Roman 5:17

Though of the day: I can reign in life through Jesus Christ.

Confession: I am reigning with Jesus.

STRENGTHEN YOURSELF IN THE LORD

Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God. 1 Samuel 30:6 Things could be going wrong all around you, challenges everywhere, and negative thoughts attacking your mind even to a point of depression. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself and wallowing up in depression, stand up and strengthen yourself in the Lord. PURSUE YOUR PURPOSE

See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. 1 Corinthians 5:15 Pursue your purpose. Your purpose is both good for you and for all. Your purpose fulfills you and meets others’ needs. Your purpose makes you happy and solves other people’s problems. Your purpose is what you do best. It entails your gifts and passion. Your purpose is necessary. Your purpose is what you were born to do. You do not have to be anyone else you can be yourself and fulfill your purpose in life. So, run your own race.
