BLESS YOURSELF IN THE LORD

So that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes.

Isaiah 65:16

God is the blesser and possesser of the heaven and the earth. If you want to be blessed then bless yourself in the Lord. That means for you to actually walk in the blessing you have to spend time with God. You have to make spending time with God a priority.

Everything you need is in God and for you to access it you have to spend time with Him. You have to pursue God. The Bible says that from His fullness we have received grace upon grace. You spend time with God you get grace, you spend more time with God you get more grace. You spend time with God every day. You get more grace every day.

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

John 1:16

As you spend time with God you get blessings upon blessings, as you spend time with God you increase in grace. You go from glory to glory, strength to strength, faith to faith.

All your blessings are in Christ, so walk out your blessings by walking with God. Walk out your own salvation by spending time with God.

Salvation is a big word that includes all the blessings in Christ Jesus. Walk out your own salvation and walk in the blessings of God. Spend time with God and bless yourself in the Lord.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Thought of the day: When I spend time with God I walk in the blessings of God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that I can spend time with You and thank You for blessing me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
