LOVE GOD AND LOVE PEOPLE

Let all that you do be done with love.

1 Corinthians 16:14

The reasons why you do all that you do matter. Why do you do ministry? Why are you in that business? Why are you working that job? Why are you in that relationship? Your reason for doing all that you do should be because you love God and you love people.

Life is all about relationships. Life is all about loving God and loving people. Your order should be God first, people second and you third. That will make you happy. That will give you JOY: Jesus, others, you.

Jesus said to him, “’You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Matthew 22:37-40

If you put God first then you should spend time with Him and you will have a healthy relationship with Him. If you put people second then you should spend time with them and you will have a healthy relationship with others. If you put yourself third then you should spend time with yourself and you will have a healthy relationship with yourself.

Nurture your relationships because relationships is all you have; relationships are eternal. When you go to heaven God will be there, others will be there and you will be there.

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:20

Thought of the day: Life is about relationships.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
