KNOWLEDGE GIVES LIGHT

For You are my lamp, O LORD, the LORD shall enlighten my darkness.

2 Samuel 22:29

Jesus is my Light and since He came in my life He has brought light in my life and that light came in the form of knowledge. The knowledge of God gives us light. When you have the light of the knowledge of God you can longer walk in darkness, you are made free.

You can name your problem. All you need is light concerning that problem and your situation will change. You will be delivered through knowledge. Knowledge of the truth will set you free!

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:32

God’s Word will give you direction for your life. It will show you who you are and what you possess. It will show you what to be, what to do, and where to go.

The Word of God gives you knowledge so that you do not walk in darkness. It changes your perspective in life and it gives you God’s thoughts.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105

The Word of God instructs you as how to live your life. The Word of God is the instruction manual for life! It gives you God’s principles about life and shows you how to live righteously.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

2 Timothy 3:16

Thought of the day: Knowledge gives light!

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
