MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

Joel 3:14

The best decision you could ever make in life is to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Other than that, you have to make numerous decisions every day of your life. When you constantly make right decisions, they eventually lead to your success in life.

Success simply put is a series of right decisions that you make. However, you need wisdom to make right decisions all the time. The Bible clearly states that if you need wisdom, you should ask for it. Solomon asked for wisdom when he was presented with an opportunity to ask and God was pleased with his request.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

James 1:5

Making right decisions every day is of outmost importance. The good that you do today will benefit you tomorrow. The good that you do right now will put you in an advantageous position later on. This applies to your vocation, health, finances, relationships, essentially every area of your life. Every decision counts.

See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:15

Regardless of you background or your current circumstance, godly wisdom can elevate you and place you at the top of the success ladder. You need wisdom every day to make right decisions and God gives that wisdom. So walk closely with God.

For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of His saints.

Proverbs 2:6-8

Thought of the day: Success is a series of right decisions that I make.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
