ONE WAY JESUS

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

Acts 2:21

In the Old Testament the name Jehovah is prevalent. However, in the New Testament, we see the name Jesus being prevalent. Jesus is Lord. When we call on Him, we shall be saved.

When you get born again, God saves you from going to hell and you are going to heaven. He saves you from sin and sin does not have dominion over you. He saves you from destruction and He gives you life. He saves you from God’s wrath and He will never be wrath with you. This is all because of what Jesus has done. He died for you and paid the price for you to be reconciled with God.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6

Jesus is the way to the Father. It is in the define article, “the way” not “a way,” Jesus is the only way. Man through religion tries to get to God. However, God has provided a living way for mankind to have a relationship with Him.

God desires to have a relationship with you; He desires to fellowship with you, however, it is only through His Son Jesus. By accepting Jesus as Saviour and Lord, you accept the Father.

Through Jesus we have access to God’s mercy and grace. Through Him we have access to God’s goodness and the blessings. Through Him we have the forgiveness of sins. Through Him we are blessed and set free. Salvation is only found in Jesus.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:12

Thought of the day: Jesus is the only way to heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus, thank You that through Him, I can have a living relationship with You, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
