BE HEAVENLY MINDED

Set your mind on things above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:2

Set your mind on spiritual things, set your mind on the kingdom of God, set your mind on heavenly things. This world is passing away and the things that you see are temporary, so set your mind on things that will last.

If you will be heavenly minded you will bring heaven on earth. If you will be heavenly minded you will win more souls and lead many to righteousness. If you will be heavenly minded you will advance God’s kingdom here on earth.

Ask yourself what is more important to God and you will come to the conclusion that souls are more important to God and the advancement of His kingdom is more important to Him. That should be what is important to you.

Find your place in God’s kingdom. How can you advance God’s kingdom? How can you use your gifts and resources to advance God’s kingdom? If you will advance God’s kingdom, everything will fall into place and all the things that you want in life will be added to you.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:33

Seek God’s will for your life. Would you rather be famous on earth or famous in heaven? Would you rather be great here on earth or be great in heaven? Do you want the praises of men or the praises of God?

Remember that you are in the world but you are not of the world, so seek to please God. Know who you are. You are born of God and you are born of the Word. You are from above, so live above the systems of this world. Be heavenly minded and advance God’s kingdom on earth.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2

Thought of the day: I have to set my mind on God’s will for my life.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
