GOD LIKES YOU

The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

Not only does God love you but God also likes you. God likes it when you spend time with Him. God longs for a relationship with you. God wants you to fellowship with Him. We see this in the Garden of Eden when God came to the man Adam.

Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

Genesis 3:9

When Adam sinned, he became estranged from God, he no longer had an intimate relationship with God. He was separated from God. However, when man got lost, God made a way for man to be reconciled to Himself. Jesus is the way that man is reconciled to God.

Now that you are reconciled to God, He likes you to spend time with Him. He likes you just the way you are, you don’t have to be like anybody else. You don’t have to have anyone’s gifts or personality. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

Psalm 139:14

God knew you before you were born and chose you. It does not matter who doesn’t like you. You are accepted in the Beloved. You matter and you are valuable to God. You don’t have to be like somebody else, your gifts and personality are needed in this world. Be yourself because God likes you the way you are.

To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Ephesians 1:6

Thought of the day: God likes me.

Confession: I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. I matter and I’m valuable to God. I’m accepted in the Beloved.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
