GOD CAUSES US TO GROW

And not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

Colossians 2:19

Your growth and increase comes from God! You cannot expect to grow if you don’t spent time with God and if you don’t go to church. God is the One who causes you to grow.

You have to be rooted in Him, and you have to abide in Him. When you are rooted and abide in Him, you will grow and when you grow, you will be fruitful and productive.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:4-5

You can grow and become the person that God wants you to be. God can mold you and shape you to the person that He wants you to be, all you have to do is learn to yield to Him.

God wants you to grow and bear fruit. God wants you to be more and more like Him. That is what growth is all about, being more and more like Jesus. As a born again believer, Jesus and His character must be formed in you.

My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you.

Galatians 4:19

When you grow you can be a leader and lead others. You can win souls and lead many to righteousness. You can liberate and empower others. You can change lives and advance God’s kingdom. If you will yield to the Holy Spirit, He will make you a leader.

Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Matthew 4:19

Thought of the day: God causes me to grow!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that I can grow and become more and more like Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
