FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Matthew 11:12

Friend, the blessed life that Jesus came for you to have; the glorious and the good life won’t be handed to you on a silver platter. You have to fight for it. Paul told Timothy to fight the good fight of faith. In this Christian life, only fighters win. Victory is secured only when you fight.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:12

How do you fight? With your full amour in place, you fight by speaking the Word. It is truly a good fight, and when you fight, you fight to win. You don’t have to take things lying down; you can put up a fight, and fight the good fight of faith.

Go for the Word because the Word is the sword of the Spirit. You can use it for an offensive attack. It puts you in an advantageous position. Therefore, put the Word in your mouth and speak it.

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.

2 Corinthians 4:13

Victory is for those who fight, they take it by force. They take it by faith. Faith is believing and speaking. You believe the Word and you speak the Word. When you do that, you fight the good fight of faith and you lay hold of God’s promises.

You don’t have to put up with failure or defeat; you can change your life by speaking the Word. Life goes in the direction of your words. That is why it is of paramount importance to speak right words. The Word of God in your mouth will put you over adverse circumstances and make you a victor in life.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Proverbs 18:21

Thought of the day: I don’t have to put up with failure or defeat; I can fight the good fight of faith.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word, thank You that it always puts me in an advantageous position. Thank You that I can secure victory through Your Word, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
