YOU ARE NOT SEEKING THE LORD IN VAIN

I have not spoken in secret, in the dark place of the earth; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain’; I, the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Isaiah 45:19

When you seek the Lord, it is not because He is far from you. No, not at all because He lives in you. When you seek Him, you seek His face and His will for your life and when you seek Him you are not seeking Him in vain.

When you seek Him you will find Him and His heart or His will for your life. You seek Him to get closer to Him. You seek Him because you love Him. When you seek the Lord, you don’t go to a specific location on the earth like some city or country. You seek the Lord through prayer and meditating in His Word.

When you seek the Lord, God causes you prosper. Prayer and meditating on the Word are very much in equation of success. Prayer and meditating on the Word will make you an absolute success.

He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper.

2 Chronicles 26:5

Those who seek God find Him and when you find God, it shall be well with you. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Seek God every day.

Always put God first. Always seek God first. Seek God at the beginning of your day and you set you set the tone for the day. When you seek God at the beginning of the day He can lead you throughout your day causing you to be at the right place at the right time.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Matthew 6:33

Thought of the day: I’m not seeking the Lord in vain.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that when seek You, I’m not seeking You in vain, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
