PURSUE YOUR GOALS

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:14

The Bible declares that where there is no vision people perish, beloved, you should have a goal in life. I have a 50 year goal, a yearly goal, a monthly goal, a weekly goal and a daily goal. Every day I press on toward my goal.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to the things which are ahead. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:12 -14

Paul pressed on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. What we are doing, we are doing for Christ Jesus. We are serving Him. We forge ahead with confidence that He who has begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Being confident of this of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:6

You should live to accomplish your purpose in life. Get a vision from the Lord and pursue it and press on until you see Him face to face and He says to you “well done good and faithful servant.” For you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

And whatever that you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ’

Colossians 3:23-24

Thought of the day: I have to pursue my goals.

Confession: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can accomplish my goals and be an absolute success in life.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
