BROUGHT NEAR BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:13

There is power, wonder working power in the blood of Jesus and we have been brought near by the blood of Christ. The Bible clearly states that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.

And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no remission.

Hebrews 9:22

In the Old Testament, they relied on the blood of goats and bulls to cover sins which was just a shadow. In the New Testament, the Lamb of God shed His own blood on the cross for the remission of sins.

When we believe in Jesus and receive Him as our Lord and Savior, our sins are removed, totally blotted out and now we have been brought near.

 Now we can have a living relationship with the living God. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that washes our sins as white as snow.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Isaiah 1:18

Sin used to separate us from God and that is what happened with Adam. When Adam sinned, he was separated from God, he became estranged from God, but thank God for the blood of Jesus that has brought us near.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Ephesians 1:7

Thought of the day: I have been brought near to God by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ that washed away my sins, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:14 Ministers of the gospel should not starve because they have a job. They have to minister to the Body of Christ and get a salary from doing so. If you are a minister of the gospel focus on your calling and God will take care of you. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him upon Peter confirming it, He expressly told him to feed the flock. As a minister of the gospel you are called to feed and take care of the flock. When you do so, God will not have a problem paying you. A laborer is worthy of his wages! And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for a laborer is worthy of his wages.
