HAVE A DREAM

Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.

Genesis 37:5

Have a dream that involves your gifts, God loves dreamers. God kept Joseph alive because Joseph had a dream. Joseph could have died at the hands of his brothers but instead they threw him in a pit, later on they took him out of the pit and sold him into slavery.

When he got to Egypt he served his master faithfully until he was accused of attempted rape by a vindictive woman and was sent to prison. In prison he was used by God to interpret a dream and eventually he got out of prison.

When Joseph got out of prison, he accomplished his dream. Joseph did not perish in the face of adversity because he had a dream. How many people perish because they don’t have a dream that they actively pursue?

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)

Don’t give up, keep dreaming. Some people, when they have failed or there is a delay, they give up on dreaming. Joseph kept dreaming the Bible says that he dreamed still another dream.

Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time the sun and moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

Genesis 37:9

Pursue your dream. Break down your dream into manageable goals. Focus on your goals and execute them. You are here on assignment and you have only an allotted time to accomplish that dream. Therefore, manage your time wisely and make the most of your time. 

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:16

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
