CREATED FOR A PURPOSE

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

You are created for a purpose and the Bible refers to your purpose as good works. There are things that God wants you to accomplish here on earth. You are here on assignment; therefore, you have to discover what it is.

You have to ask yourself what your purpose is. You have to ask God what He wants you to do. Your purpose entails your gifts and passions. Your purpose is something you are both good at and passionate about.

Stop telling others what they should do for you but ask what should I do? What can you do for others? What can you do for your family, church, community, nation etc.?

What is your purpose? Ask the right questions, after hearing Peter’s sermon on the Day of Pentecost people asked the right question and that led to their salvation.

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

Acts 2:37

There is nothing you can do better than your purpose. If you want to be excellent you have to pursue your purpose. You can be exceptional and above average when you pursue your purpose. You can stand out and accomplish success at the highest height. You can be a pace setter, a history maker and a world changer when you pursue your purpose.

Purpose distinguishes you from rest of the crowd. Purpose can make you great. You cannot be your best self without pursuing your purpose. All the success that you want is in the pursuit of your purpose.

A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.

Proverbs 18:16

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
