BE PLANTED IN A LOCAL CHURCH

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:19

When you are born again you have to be planted in a local church and attend church faithfully. The local church is where you will fellowship with other believers. You can learn to serve others in a local church! When you are in a local church, you can pray for others and others can pray for you.

You can make lasting friendships in a local church and possibly meet your future spouse in a local church. No man is an island and as a child of God you have to belong to a local church. You have to be part of a functioning body. There are blessings for you in a local church!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down the beard of Aaron, running down the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing – life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1-3

The local church is where you can begin to discover and utilize your gifts. The local church is where you can begin to dream! Learn to serve in a local church. Learn to use your gifts in your local church.

A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.

Proverbs 18:16

There are so many benefits that are in a local church. When you are planted in a local church, you will prosper. The local church is the place where you begin to flourish. Many people want to flourish in the world. However, as a child of God if you truly want to flourish in life, you have to be planted in a local church.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Psalm 92:12-15

Thought of the day: I have to be planted in a local church.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
