GRACE

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

John 1:16-17

Grace is unmerited favor; favor that you didn’t earn, and that you don’t deserve. Grace or unmerited favor came by Jesus Christ. Jesus is full of grace and truth.

Every time you come to Jesus, you receive grace and when you come again, you receive more grace. Hallelujah! No judgment, no condemnation, just grace upon grace. The Bible declares that with the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness we will reign in life by Jesus Christ.

For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:17

We are living in the dispensation of grace. Consequently, when you go to God, He doesn’t judge or condemn you. Judgment is coming. However, it is not that time. God corrects you when you have sinned, but it is not the same as judgment or condemnation. What’s the difference? There is mercy.

When you get in the Lord’s presence, there is only love, peace, joy and more grace. So run to the Father, He won’t scold you, no matter what you have done. He loves you and will welcome you with open arms.

The Bible says that He gives more grace to the humble, but He resists the proud. The proud are those who won’t go to God, they think that they don’t need Him. He gives more grace to the humble, those who realize that they need God and go to Him.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Thought of the day: God gives more grace to the humble.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace. Thank You that the more I spend time with You, the more I increase in grace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
