GOD’S MANAGERS

Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 

1 Corinthians 4:2

We are stewards of God’s resources! We are God’s managers of His resources! God has given us the world for the purpose of management.

What God requires is that we be found faithful. Being God’s managers is a very serious business and it transcends time. It starts in this life and it is carried on in the life to come.

His lord said to him, ‘Well done good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

Matthew 25:21

When you are faithful as God’s steward of His resources or God’s manager, you will be blessed for it, because God rewards faithfulness.

A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.

Proverbs 28:20

Everything belongs to God and He has made us managers of His resources. Jesus is appointed heir of all things and since we are joint heirs with Jesus, the world belongs to us for the purpose of management.

And if children, then heirs – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Romans 8:17

We have to manage God’s resources God’s way. We have to learn the principles of management from the Word of God, and be led by the Spirit in the management of God’s resources.

Adam was given this responsibility of management from the beginning. We are also given this responsibility of management. Therefore, we have to manage our time, relationships and resources wisely. We have to know how to get the best out of everything! When we are faithful with little then God will entrust us with much.

He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
