NOTHING WORKS UNLESS YOU DO

The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

Genesis 2:15 (NIV)

As an adult you have to do work of some sort whether it is ministry, business, or a job. You have to in some way, shape or form engage in service to mankind. You cannot afford to be idle because that will only lead to poverty.

When you work in service to mankind you make a difference. Making a difference is the number one reason why you are here and it is your choice how you will make that difference. When you work you will profit.

In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.

Proverbs 14:23

You were created to work and manage the earth. There is no getting around it, but you find some people who want to do well financially but don’t want to engage in work. That is laziness and it leads to poverty.

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Proverbs 10:4

Lazy people end up poor and hardworking people end up rich. The rich know how to work both hard and smart. In other words the rich work hard and get wisdom. The rich don’t just work hard but they use wisdom.

Wealth is in wisdom not just in hard work; however, hard work is an integral part of wealth. You cannot be idle and expect to do well financially because nothing works unless you do.

So engage, create a product or engage in some service to humanity. Make a difference and you will be rewarded. Solve problems and you will be rewarded. Move humanity forward and you will be rewarded.

That you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we have commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

Thought of the day: Nothing works unless I do.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
