DON’T LET PEOPLE MANIPULATE YOU

You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.

1 Corinthians 7:23

You were bought with a price and you belong to Jesus! Jesus loves you, so learn to love yourself and don’t let people use, manipulate or abuse you. Know your worth, value yourself and others will value you!

Learn not to get close to toxic people and know when to walk away from toxic relationships. Don’t let people use their status to manipulate you! Know who you are, you were bought with a price and do not become a slave of men.

Respect people but also teach people to respect you! By this I don’t mean be rude to people because we are called to peace. However, don’t let people take advantage of you. Value yourself because you are valuable to God!

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now a people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2:9-10

Child of God, you are special to God, so see yourself as special. God loves and likes you! You are in His heart and you are the apple of His eye. You don’t have to be like anybody else, you can be yourself because your unique personality, abilities and creativity are needed in this world.

People will generally see you the way you see yourself! Therefore, know who you are in Christ and see yourself the way God sees you. You are made in God’s image and in His likeness. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You belong to Jesus.

And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

1 Corinthians 3:23

Thought of the day: I belong to Jesus; I don’t have to be manipulated by others.

Confession: I belong to Jesus. I’m made in God’s image and in His likeness. I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. I’m special to God.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
