ESCAPE

Our God is the God of salvation; and to God the Lord belong escapes from death.

Psalm 68:20

As a child of God you can escape death, destruction, sickness, poverty and everything that is consistent with death. To God belong divine escapes.

Remember as believers, we do not die we sleep. Death does not have a hold on you, sickness, poverty and destruction does not have a hold on you.

Sin has brought all sorts of corruption into the world but as children of God we escape it. Jesus has set us free. We escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.

By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2 Peter 1:4

You don’t have to live in danger, you can escape wicked people. As a young man, you don’t have to live in sexual immorality you can escape the immoral woman. You can escape people of wrong influence.

To deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things, from those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness; who rejoice in doing evil, and delight in the perversity of the wicked; whose ways are crocked, and who are devious in their paths; to deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.

Proverbs 2:12-17

You don’t have to be a victim of circumstances you can escape. You can escape loneliness, depression, stress, worry and anxiety.

You can escape it all and you escape it by your relationship with Jesus. All these things cannot stand in the presence of the Lord, the closer you come to Jesus, the more they flee.

The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Psalm 97:5

Thought of the day: Divine escapes belong to God.

Confession: No evil shall befall me nor shall any plague come near my dwelling. No man shall be able to stand before me all the days of my life. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
