PRAYING FOR SOULS

Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Psalm 2:8

It’s time to pray for souls. Do you want to make God rich? Win souls for Him. It’s time to travail for souls. It’s time to set people free. You have received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. It’s time to pray for others to come to the knowledge of the Lord.

The god of the system of this world has blinded them. Pray for your unsaved family members, relatives, neighbours, colleagues and friends. It’s time to make them see.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)

When we pray for them, we make them see. When we share Jesus with them, we make them see. We set them free. The world needs us. You are a solution to a problem. I am a solution to a problem.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 1:8

You need the Holy Spirit to be an effective witness. When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and boldness to witness and share Jesus with others. However, start by praying for souls first before you witness.

When you have adequately prayed for someone, the Holy Spirit can lead you to share Jesus with that particular person. That is one more soul for Jesus. God desires for all people to be saved, so pray for souls.

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:1-4

Thought of the day: God desires for all people to be saved.

Prayer: Pray for souls.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:14 Ministers of the gospel should not starve because they have a job. They have to minister to the Body of Christ and get a salary from doing so. If you are a minister of the gospel focus on your calling and God will take care of you. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him upon Peter confirming it, He expressly told him to feed the flock. As a minister of the gospel you are called to feed and take care of the flock. When you do so, God will not have a problem paying you. A laborer is worthy of his wages! And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for a laborer is worthy of his wages. Luke 10:7 As a minister, give yourself to prayer and the Word, minister to the flock and do the work of an evangelist, that means win souls. God always takes care of people who win souls.
