THE MORE YOU GIVE THE MORE YOU RECEIVE

There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. 

Proverbs 11:24

Generosity leads to prosperity while stinginess leads to poverty. There is no prosperity without generosity. You cannot reap unless you have sown.

When you give, you are not losing because you will be blessed in the future. Giving doesn’t decrease people, giving increases people. If you want to grow in the area of finances then be generous.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Galatians 6:7

Many people plan how they will spend their money, but few people plan how to give their money. If you want to be a prosperous man, learn to plan how to be generous.

Generosity differentiates the successful from the unsuccessful and the rich from the poor. Rich and successful people have this in common, they are generous.

But a generous man devices generous things, and by generosity he shall stand.

Isaiah 32:8

So move away from poverty and scarcity mentality and be a generous person, because the more you give the more you receive. God blesses generous people! If you were looking for blessings, they are in generosity.

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Acts 20:35

Thought of the day: The more I give the more I receive!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching me to be generous, and thank You that it is more blessed to give than to receive, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:14 Ministers of the gospel should not starve because they have a job. They have to minister to the Body of Christ and get a salary from doing so. If you are a minister of the gospel focus on your calling and God will take care of you. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him upon Peter confirming it, He expressly told him to feed the flock. As a minister of the gospel you are called to feed and take care of the flock. When you do so, God will not have a problem paying you. A laborer is worthy of his wages! And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for a laborer is worthy of his wages.
