FEARING GOD

Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments.

Psalm 112:1

Nothing brings blessings like the fear of the Lord. When you fear God, He will bless you. God-fearing people are blessed people! All great men and women of God fear God.

God is the Creator of the universe and everything that is in it. His greatness and wisdom is past finding out. He runs the whole universe. He is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent. God knows the end from the beginning. There is no one like the Lord. Everyone who fears the Lord is blessed!

Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways.

Psalm 128:1

When you fear the Lord, does that mean you are afraid of God? Yes, you are not afraid of Him to run from Him, but you are afraid to sin against Him. When you fear the Lord, you will fear nothing and no one else.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10:28

God is to be feared, honored and revered, He is the Lord. God blesses those who fear Him. He gives them long life, riches, honor, pleasure and peace. No good thing does He withhold from those who fear Him.

The Bible teaches us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and that to fear the Lord is wisdom. You cannot be a man or a woman of wisdom without the fear of the Lord. Those who fear Him are people of wisdom.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 9:10

Thought of the day: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are to be feared, honored and revered, You are the Lord, thank You that when I fear You I will be blessed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:14 Ministers of the gospel should not starve because they have a job. They have to minister to the Body of Christ and get a salary from doing so. If you are a minister of the gospel focus on your calling and God will take care of you. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him upon Peter confirming it, He expressly told him to feed the flock. As a minister of the gospel you are called to feed and take care of the flock. When you do so, God will not have a problem paying you. A laborer is worthy of his wages! And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for a laborer is worthy of his wages.
