HUMBLE PEOPLE SERVE

But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Matthew 23:11-12

Whether be at the home, church, workplace, school or community, humble people love to serve. They shift their focus from themselves and place it on others.

If you have dreams, humble yourself and help someone else’s dreams come true. If you are faithful in another man’s house, God will give you your own house. If you support another man’s vision, God will give you your own vision.

Helping others is one of the best investments you could ever make. God will make happen for you what you make happen for others. Servitude is the key to greatness.

And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

Mark 9:35

It takes humility to serve others. You have to care about others and place a value on them before you can serve them.  You have to go down in order to go up.

If you are unable to support others by serving with your hands, you can support them with prayers, finances, or words of encouragement. There is always something you can do for others.

We need to support each other as the body of Christ. When you support others in their vision, others can come along to support you when you run with your vision. Humble people serve. Great people serve.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:14 Ministers of the gospel should not starve because they have a job. They have to minister to the Body of Christ and get a salary from doing so. If you are a minister of the gospel focus on your calling and God will take care of you. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him upon Peter confirming it, He expressly told him to feed the flock. As a minister of the gospel you are called to feed and take care of the flock. When you do so, God will not have a problem paying you. A laborer is worthy of his wages! And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for a laborer is worthy of his wages.
