PEACE

Peace I leave with you, My peace give I unto you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:27

God wants you to have peace not as the world but the peace that surpasses understanding. The world gives you peace when there seems to be quiet and safety. However, as a child of God, you can have peace in the midst of a storm. The storms of life could be raging all around you but you have peace on the inside.

Jesus knew that you were going to have challenges. As a matter of fact, He said that in this world you will have tribulation. Jesus knows about the storms of life. However, He gives you peace in the midst of the storms of life.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

The world walks by sight or sensory perception, but we walk by faith. We know that Jesus has overcome the world. We know that we are born of God and we overcome the world. No matter the trouble, we are overcomers.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.

1 John 5:4

Victory belongs to Jesus and victory belongs to us. We can have peace in the midst of the storm. We just talk to the Lord about our problems and go on about our lives. God always comes through for us, we have peace.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

Thought of the day: I can have peace in the midst of the storm.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
