TELL GOD WHAT YOU WANT

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Matthew 7:7

God is a gentle Man, although He sees what you are going through, He will not interfere in your business unless you ask Him to. So, when you go through challenges don’t just ignore them and keep quiet about them, tell God what you want.

Many people go through challenges for a long time without really telling God what they want, so God does not do anything to change their situation. The Word lets us know that if we have problems we should pray.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.

James 5:13

Some people are prayer warriors, they pray for many things and many people but they hardly pray for themselves. You have to learn to pray for yourself and tell God what you want.

I believe that some of the most powerful prayers that could be prayed for you are ones you pray yourself. There are examples of how saints prayed for themselves in the Bible.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

1 Chronicles 4:10

In no way am I saying that you should be selfish and pray only for yourself, however, you do have to pray for yourself. Learn to tell God what you want.

O You who hear prayer, to you all flesh will come.

Psalm 65:2

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
