PRAY FOR LEADERS IN YOUR COUNTRY

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

2 Timothy 2:1-2

As a child of God it is your responsibility to pray for leaders in your country. Leaders in your country are appointed by God and you need to pray for them not criticize them.

Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, or to governors, as those who are sent by him for the punishment of evil doers and for the praise of those who do good.

1 Peter 2:13

God can speak to their hearts to favor the church. God can speak to their hearts to make decisions that are in line with His Word. That is where your prayers come in; your prayers are needed for God to work in your leaders’ hearts.

The king’s heart is in the hands of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

Proverbs 21:1

Don’t just watch your leaders make wrong decisions and then criticize them, but engage in prayer on their behalf. Some leaders go into leadership intending to do well, but when they are there they are faced with challenges. They need your prayers.

When you pray for your leaders you will live a quiet and peaceable life. You will be free to preach the gospel in your country. You will be free to live for Jesus in your country.

When you pray for your leaders, they will make decisions that will favor you. When you pray to God to help your leaders someone will pray to God to help you. God will make happen for you what you make happen for others.

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 7:12

Thought of the day: I need to pray for my leaders and not criticize them.

Prayer: Pray for leaders in your country.

WAGE WAR WITH PROPHECY

This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. 1 Timothy 1:18 If you have a prophecy spoken over your life it is time for warfare. It is time to wage war with your prophecy. Take the prophecy spoken over you and put it in your mouth. Speak the same prophecy over your life. Agree with God. Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Amos 3:3 Speak the same things with God. That is faith, faith speaks the same things with God and we overcome by our faith. Faith will put you over and it will make you an overcomer. Use your faith to wage war. And whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 Put up a good fight and fight the good fight of faith. You have to fight in order to win. Wage war with prophecy. GOD REWARDS RIGHTEOUS LIVING

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 2 Samuel 22:21 Righteousness according to the Old Testament is righteous living. However, in the New Testament we have received the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. When David in the Old Testament said that the LORD rewarded him according to his righteousness, he is essentially saying that the LORD rewarded him for his righteous living. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 The above Scripture would then mean: “Say to those who live righteously that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” God rewards righteous living. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now, if you would continue living righteously, living according to God’s Word sooner than later your life would begin to change. You can turn things around as you live righteously.
